Miss H Stenseth
I have spent most of my life in North Dakota where I was born and raised near Fargo. After high school I went on to attend the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks where I intended to study medicine but realized the full extent of my love for theatre. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in December of 2006 with a BFA in Theatre and Honors. While in school I was a member of Telesis, the Student Alumni Association Group; a charter member of Society Dionysus, a theatre group for UND students; along with many other activities including volunteer work in the community. My favorite summers during these years were spent working at a family resort in Alexandria, Minnesota where I helped organize the youth program.
Feeling that I was a “city girl” at heart I moved to Denver, CO after graduation. My spare time in the past year and a half has been spent on the stage or directing, working with children in a number of theatrical endeavors. I also enjoyed the mountains to their full extent, skiing all winter and hiking or horseback riding in the summer. I am a huge fan of the outdoors and love to explore new places and meet new people.
I am excited to call Chicago my home and join the staff at the British School of Chicago. This school year is sure to be exciting and I am looking forward to meeting all the children in my class.
