I was born in Perth, Scotland and I studied for my degree at a university in Manchester. After graduating I moved to Leeds for a year and taught a reception class in Huddersfield.
I am currently teaching a Year 4 class in Perth, Scotland I enjoy being involved in extra- curricular activities, including being a member of the eco committee, walking club and writing club. I am passionate about Drama and for the past two years have had the opportunity to direct the annual Holiday play. In my current post I have had the opportunity to teach French to my class and look forward to teaching this in my new post.
I am a creative and nurturing teacher, who believes in providing children with stimulating learning environment where they feel safe and secure. I have always relished the opportunity of teaching in America and I am excited about moving to Chicago. I am looking forward to teaching in an international setting and meeting students, colleagues and parents.
