Miss. J Burn

I grew up in Lincolnshire, in the East of England and studied for my degree at Warwick University before taking a year out to gain teaching experience. I then moved to London where I studied for my primary PGCE at St. Mary’s college and I remained in London for the following 4 years, working in a large, successful primary school in West London.
As well as having experience as a classroom teacher in Years 4 and 5, I have also held the responsibility of Science Subject Leader across Key Stage 1 and 2, and Year Team Leader. I have also coached Year 5 and 6 Netball and organised many tournaments.
I’m thrilled to be taking up a new role at the British School of Chicago and very excited about the new experiences and challenges ahead. I look forward to working with a new group of staff, as well as meeting all the parents and children.
