Jerry DiMuzio
Woodwind Tutor and Jazz Band Leader

Jerry DiMuzio is an accomplished musician on clarinet, saxophone, oboe and flute, graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (near Pittsburgh) in the early 70's with a B.A. in clarinet and flute. After college he relocated to Chicago and has been active as a freelance musician and teacher.
Some favorite accomplishments are touring with Frank Sinatra for 4 years in the US, Canada and Europe, and performing at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC for their Honors Awards every December since 1989. He has recorded over 1,000 radio and TV jingles and played numerous broadway shows including 'The Producers, Chicago, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, and The Beauty and the Beast.'
Other highlights include road gigs with Ray Charles, Woody Herman, Frank Sinatra Jr. and the Glenn Miller Orchestra. He has also played as an extra with the Chicago, Milwaukee and Israel Symphonies and the Lyric Opera Symphony of Chicago. he has made ten appearances at the Chicago Jazz Festival and jazz festivals in Sweden, Denmark and Italy.
He's been on the adjunt faculty at Roosevelt University since 2000 teaching jazz saxophone, clarinet, flute and combos. He lives on the north side of Chicago with his wife and two daughters who play violins.
