Languages Week

From October 8th - 12th pupils in Year 3 and up will be learning some interesting facts and some new languages, including Korean, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese and Russian!  Pupils learning Spanish in Key Stages 3 and 4 will also be taking part in a trip to see the Ensemle Espanol perform a show based around Spanish music and dance, and Year 8 and 9 students will also get a sample of some traditional Mexican food.

Miss Stevenson and her Year 7 form class are transforming their classroom into a Cafe de Paris during Tuesday break, which will be available for High School students - though be warned - you need to order your croissants in French if you want to be understood!

A special thank you to all the parents who have volunteered to help during Languages Week.  The pupils are all very excited about your visits.  Watch out for the newsletter next week for some photos from all our events.
