Montreal and Quebec

Montreal and Quebec City 11-15 June 2007

June saw the British School of Chicago take its first visit on international soil with an excursion to French speaking Canada.

The trip was for pupils in Year 5 to 10 and included a variety of activities to develop language skills as well as opportunities to learn more about the history and culture of the province of Quebec.

During part of the trip we visited a link school in Montreal and enjoyed local cuisine at a different restaurant each night! Our French language skills improved along with our cultural awareness.
