YEAR 1 - YEAR 2 (Senior Kindergarten - Grade 1)

Application Process: Year 1 and Year 2

The application process begins by submitting the application form ( BSC_Registration_Packet) along with the $150 application fee or Apply Online (*Please note we are no longer accepting applications for Year One.) for Secure Online Payment.

Upon receipt of the application form and fee, your application will be 'date stamped'; your application the Admissions Office will schedule a tour, parent conference, a date and time for your child's assessment and a teacher recommendation form.

Tour

Parent's who have submitted an application form along with the application fee will be given a tour of the school's Key Stage 1 department (Year 1 and Year 2).

Parent Conferences

Parents who have submitted an application form along with the application fee will, following their school tour of the Key Stage 1 department (Year 1 and Year 2), meet with a member of the Admissions Office.

Child Assessments

All applicants for Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and Year 2) are required to visit the British School of Chicago and to spend a day with the appropriate age related class where they will be individually assessed as to their readiness and suitability for attending the British School of Chicago.
