I was born and raised in Chicago, receiving a private education all my life. I obtained my Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago in May 2007, along with being on the Pre-Medicine track.

While attending Loyola, I have gain a lot of leadership and teamwork skills by serving on the executive board of the Latin American Student Organization for three years (two years serving as president) and by establishing a new chapter of the first Latin sorority in the nation, Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Incorporated, at Loyola. Also, I have helped establish our alumnae chapter for Illinois and currently serving as secretary for the second year.

Before working at the British School of Chicago, I worked closely with different administrators and staff at Loyola, especially with the Office of Student Diversity. I also worked as a teaching assistant for a Philosophy professor for three years. From these experiences, as well as my experience from working within BSC, I have developed a passion to work in the education field. I am currently working toward going to graduate school for my PhD in Higher Education and hopefully receive a basic certification in Psychiatric Rehabilitation. I am excited and looking forward to another fabulous, eventful and educational year as an Enthusiastic Elephant!
