I was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and relocated to the Chicago area about a year ago. I received my undergraduate degree from Miami University of Ohio in Psychology with a focus on Children in Families and Risk and Resiliency.

During my college years I took advantage of an opportunity to study abroad at the University of Westminster in London. Throughout my time in London I developed a great appreciation for the beauty and culture that exists within this city, as well as an understanding of the British style of education.

Previous to working at the British School of Chicago I had the opportunity to work at various children’s camps in the Pittsburgh area in addition to participating in a volunteer program at the Child Development Unit at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. I am looking forward to applying what I have learned in University and in my work experiences to the classroom, and am extremely excited to be the learning assistant in the year one Dashing Dragons class!
