I was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota and moved to Illinois to attend a small liberal arts school called Knox College in the town of Galesburg. During my time at Knox, I became active in many clubs and was on the managing staff of the campus radio station. I also had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy, where I was able to study renaissance art on location. I graduated with honors in 2006 with a degree in Studio Art and Art History. After graduation, I moved to the city and worked for the Art Institute of Chicago until August of 2007, when I left to join the staff here at the British School. Working here has been a wonderful learning experience for me, which I hope to take with me as I eventually pursue my masters. I very much enjoyed my first year with the Year Two Terrific Tigers and look forward to another great one to come!
