Miss L Gillon
Specialist Teacher
Form/Class: Year 6
Subject: French and Latin

I grew up in a small town on the west coast of Scotland before attending university in Scotland studying Business and Languages, French and German. During my course in university I had the pleasure of studying at a French Business School in La Rochelle, France.
After graduating I took up a teaching position in an international boarding school in Switzerland, on returning to the UK I studied for my PGCE and then was appointed to my first UK teaching post in Scotland. In my present post I am responsible for teaching French and German in a Scottish High School. I am very passionate about the importance of developing language skills and I believe this learning should be fun and exciting.
I look forward to becoming part of the team at the British School of Chicago and to meeting all of the children, parents and staff.
