I grew up in a small village in Buckinghamshire and decided that I would like to go to a university in a large city where I studied Theology. During my teaching experience I have taught pupils from many diverse backgrounds and I have found this to be invaluable in developing my teaching techniques. Through out my teaching carer I have been in charge of Geography, PACE and now PE.

Outside of work I enjoy travelling and want to visit as many different states as I can, whilst living here. I have enjoyed skiing since an early age, skiing in France and Whistler. I go as often as I can during the winter months.

As a child I lived near Cleveland, Ohio for 3 years and I always wanted to come back and teach in America so when the opportunity arose I knew it was meant to be.

I am excited to be in my second year here at the British School of Chicago, teaching Physical Education and PACE from Nursery to Year 2. It will be a fun year and I look forward to challenging and developing the children’s learning, knowledge and skills.
