I have lived most of my life in and around London where I also went to university and graduated with an honours degree in ‘Theatre Studies and Music,' I then studied for my PGCE specializing in Music.

I have been a Foundation Stage (Reception and Nursery) teacher for the past five years and a member of the leadership team for three of these. This year I am delighted to undertake the role of Nursery leader and look forward to guiding a team of enthusiastic teachers and learning assistants, providing an exciting and challenging learning environment for the children to enjoy.

This year I will also be continuing my role of music specialist in the Nursery and will be drawing on my Grade VIII clarinet skills in these lessons. I am thrilled to continue this specialism, as music is one of my great passions.

I have developed many methods of inspiring and motivating children to learn whilst still ensuring that they feel safe, secure and comfortable and I am looking forward to continuing this with my new class. I am dedicated to early learning and am looking forward to using my experience and expertise in the full time Nursery class, the ‘Cool Cats’.
