I was raised in the small town of Winchester, Indiana. I graduated with academic honors from Winchester Community High School and played basketball, golf and track. After high school, I attended Saint Mary's College in South Bend, Indiana. With Notre Dame University across the street, I was able to attend classes on both campuses studying for my Business Administration degree. During school I traveled to Ireland, Scotland, France and London studying International Business as well as volunteering as a Student Manager for Notre Dame's soccer, lacrosse, swim and the Irish football teams. I graduated from Saint Mary's College in 2006 with a Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
Before my employment with the British School of Chicago, I worked for several professional sports teams in Indiana. During the summer of 2005 I worked as an intern for the WNBA Indiana Fever, in the Community Relations department. I also interned for the Indianapolis Colts during their 2006 Super Bowl Championship season in their Marketing department.
At the end of my internship with the Colts, I was thrilled to join the British School of Chicago for several reasons. I have always wanted to study for my MBA in Chicago as I am currently taking the first steps to applying to graduate schools here in the city. Also, I am confident that my position with the British School of Chicago will compliment my skills and ability to work toward the schools mission while experiencing exciting learning opportunities for myself and with the families that attend.
