Years 2 – 11 were given a treat on Tuesday this week when they were visited in the classroom by parents and other members of the community to talk to them about the joy and importance of reading. Our guests read their favourite stories to the children and talked about their backgrounds and careers which ranged from a former FBI agent to a TV news reporter!

Year 6 were particularly excited to have visiting them Roseanne Tellez, the CBS2 morning news anchor. They heard all about the drama in front of and behind the camera. Thank you to Angela Hills for arranging this. Indeed thank you to all our volunteers. The children thoroughly enjoyed listening and engaging in your stories and we hope you all enjoyed it too!
